Welcome to www.ugandans4rights.org, the official website of Uganda's Civil Society Coalition on Human Rights and Constitutional Law.

The Coalition was established in October 2009 in response to the tabling of a now notorious Anti-Homosexuality Bill in the Ugandan Parliament.
From modest beginnings, our membership has grown and now stands at 28 Ugandan civil society organisations. Our primary campaign is to see the Bill dropped from the Parliament's agenda.

While in the long run the Coalition hopes to tackle numerous issues related to human rights and constitutional law in Uganda, at this point in time our website is dedicated to our campaign to see the now notorious Anti-Homosexuality Bill dropped from Parliament's agenda.

Use the site to find out the most up-to-date information on the Bill, including the perspectives of the many Ugandans who are opposed to this draconian legislation.
